Jeeva is caught

Meanwhile in the hut, Jeeva sat down to have his lunch. Jamali had prepared a great farewell feast for him. Jamali served food to Jeeva. He started eating. 

Jamali asked happily, “Brother, how is the food?”

Eating happily, Jeeva said, “Do you know how tasty this is? I must have increased by 5 kgs in these 20 days while my arm was getting cured.” 

Jhansi shook her head seriously. “Don’t say that. It is inauspicious. It would have been nice if you could have stayed for two more days.”

Jeeva said a little seriously, “I have so many jobs to do fighting for my religion, my dear.”

The ladies looked at Jeeva in surprise.

Meanwhile the police jeep had entered the village. As it neared the Naik’s hut, SI stopped the jeep. Naik was surprised. “Why Swami? We can go up to the hut, can’t we?”

Seriously inspector said, “That blood sucker’s ears are like a dog’s ears. He will find out from sound itself who it is.”

Jeep stopped. All got down. Inspector said to his men, “Surround the hut. Hold your guns with great alertness. If he escapes and runs, fire at his legs. I want him alive.”

Seriously Naik, “I would have cut him into pieces as soon as I found out. But with him I wanted to remove the roots also, that was why I brought him to you.”

The men surrounded the hut.

SI said softly, “He is so dangerous that he can smell out the enemy like a dog. If he escapes, it will be very difficult.”

Seriously, Naik, “How can he escape now? This is my forest, tribe’s forest. We will tear him apart.”

Jeeva was eating happily. Suddenly he sniffed as if he was in doubt. He turned to look at the front door.

Jamali saw this action. She turned to look at the door and said, “Brother must have come.”

Jeeva became serious and alert. Suddenly Jeeva washed his hands and caught hold of Durga. Jhansi and Jamali were scared.

Jhansi asked with shock, “Brother, what are you doing?”

Jeeva put a finger at his lips. “Sh. Be silent.”

He looked at the door.

Suddenly, Naik entered the hut with SI, who was holding a gun. Jeeva took out a knife from his pocket and held it at Durga’s neck.

Looking at Jeeva, Dodda Naik said, “See there. He is that poisonous snake.”

Inspector pointed the gun at Jeeva. But Jeeva had knife at Durga’s throat.

With the knife at Drug’s neck, Jeeva said seriously, “If you put one step forward, I will cut her throat.” 

Inspector was confused what to do. “Let her go.”

With alertness, Naik said, “Eh, catch him.”

Jeeva turned to look. Suddenly Naik attacked Jeeva and rescued Durga.

Dodda Naik held Jeeva tight. Naik, “Bastard. Anti-national. I will suck your blood. You bastards throw stones on the house which gave you bread.”

Inspector put handcuffs on Jeeva.

Jeeva said angrily, “Eh Naik, you caught me and handed me over to the police. We are men fighting for jihad and ready to give our life for it.”

Naik was very angry. He hit on Jeeva’s face. “You are born in this county, live in this country and will die in this country. And yet you are doing injustice to this very country. You should be cut into pieces.”

Police dragged Jeeva away. 

Jeeva said angrily, “Just watch, Naik. Even if you put me in jail, you will not remain alive. They will make your dead body fall.” 

Angry Naik hit Jeeva once again. Jeeva fell down.

Naik said angrily, “If you sacrifice your life for jihad doing anti-national deeds, I will sacrifice my life for this country with great devotion.”

Police dragged Jeeva away.

Jeeva shouted angrily, “I will see your end, just watch.”

Naik said, “Eh get lost.”

Police made Jeeva climb into the jeep.

With folded hands, CI said to Naik, “You have saved the country by catching such a fellow. You have become world famous. May god bless you.”

Naik said, “From now onwards this forest will keep an eye open for such people. The tanda people will drink the blood of such anti-nationals.”

Dodda Naik became famous for having caught such a big terrorist. Paper, TV people come for interview to the forest. They took Naik’s interview.

Reporter asked, “Dodda Naik, how did you come to know that he is a big terrorist?”

Dodda Naik told them in detail about what happened. “As soon as I saw this anti-national’s photo in the paper and came to know about him, I wanted to cut him down immediately on the spot. But then he will be the only one who dies. I thought that if I hand him over to the police, we can catch the whole gang. That is why I contacted the police.”

Photos were clicked and videos were taken of Dodda Naik.

Journalist Swati said, “You have become very famous today since you have caught such a big terrorist. Just watch, today and tomorrow the TV channels will telecast this news.”

Naik said, “I am just an ordinary tribal. I did not do the job to become famous. I did it for my country.”
